Clinicross is a medical crossword puzzle app for nursing and medical students.
Clinicross does not require an account. We do not ask for your name or email address, and we do not create a profile for you.
Your puzzle history, progress and statistics are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to us and they are not synced between devices. Generated puzzle content is stored using Supabase (encrypted in transit and at rest) without any identifier linking it to you.
Billing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not store payment information. Subscription management is powered by RevenueCat.
To keep Clinicross reliable and sustainable for everyone, puzzle generation is subject to fair-use daily limits. Free users can generate a limited number of puzzles per day (and may unlock more by watching a rewarded ad). Premium subscribers receive a generous daily allowance intended to comfortably cover normal study use. These limits exist to prevent automated abuse and are not intended to restrict genuine use; if you reach a daily limit, it resets the following day.
Free users may see ads via Google AdMob. On iOS you will be asked for permission before your device identifier is used for personalized ads. Premium subscribers see no ads.
We do not sell your personal data.
Because Clinicross has no accounts, there is no profile to delete. Your puzzles, progress and statistics live only on your device — deleting the app removes them permanently. Generated puzzle content is stored without any identifier and cannot be traced back to you. If you have any question about your data, email us and we will help.
Clinicross is not directed at children under 13.
